Lady Gaga has finally premiered her new song “Do What U Want” featuring legendary R&B artist R. Kelly.
The DJ White Shadow produced track was released digitally in North America at midnight on Monday and will be available worldwide on Tuesday.
Few days ago when Gaga unveiled the tracklist for her new album “ARTPOP,” people were surprised to see Kelly’s name on it, now that the collaboration is out in full, the world can see that it makes perfect sense musically.
“Do What U Want” is a promo single from the “Applause” singer’s third studio album that will be released on November 11.
On it the controversial artists address the pitfalls of fame and life in the spotlight, where your every move is judged by anonymous people behind a computer keyboard who could care less about how the real you feel.
Gaga and Kellz portray themselves as disposal objects at the mercy of their celebrity status, yet they would not trade that lifestyle for the world.
The new record will surface after the release of the new single “Venus” that will be out on October 27.
“Do What U Want” could serve as the perfect launching pad for the R&B singer’s next career move.
R. Kelly will release his 12th studio album “Black Panties” on December 12, it will feature the singles “My Story” featuring 2 Chainz and “Genius.”
A third excerpt taken from “Black Panties” titled “Cookie” was released two weeks ago.
The “When A Man Lies” crooner recently stated that a song a la “I Wish,” his early 2000s hit from the TP2.com album will also be on the record, it will address the rampant violence that is currently affecting inner city America.
Future and Ludacris are among the collaborators that will appear on “Black Panties.”
